Buyer must supply to Seller a copy of Buyer's driver license and a copy of Buyer's local FFL dealer's license before shipment will be made. LEGAL REQUIREMENT- Modern firearms must be transferred through a licensed FFL dealer in Buyer's area. SHIPPING: All firearms will be shipped Priority Mail with insurance and delivery confirmation. If the firearm is sold for less, the difference will be deducted from the deposit plus 10% for my time, storage and taking the firearm off the market for your lay-a-way period. If you fail to close the deal I will hold funds until the firearm is sold. It is 1/3 immediately, 1/3 in 30 days and 1/3 in 60 days. LAYAWAY: If needed I offer a 60 lay-a-way option. If you have long wanted a military M1911A1 style pistol but have been put off by the expense, then the Systema Colt's represent the value and quality you have been searching for! These are excellent shooters with an interesting history behind them, at a reasonable price. Triggers were solid as on the 1927 Colts, and the checkering on the mainspring housing was changed from Colt type cut checkering to indented checkering. The only noticeable differences were the markings, grips, black oxide bluing, a sharp edge on the rear of the hammer, and a sharp edge on the heel of the grip safety. THEY ARE EXACT COPIES of Colt's 1927 pistols (identical to US military M1911A1 pistols) except for very minor differences. The pistols were manufactured in accordance with Colt's 1927 drawings. These guns were made in Argentina under license from Colt, with Colt machinery, and with help from Colt engineers, and are known as Model 1927 Systema Colt. In 1927, the Argentina Arsenal "DGFM-FMAP" began manufacturing the Model 1911A1. ![]() Gun function is excellent and is very solid and tight. All serial numbers with the exception of the mag, match- but is correct Argentine mag. Has correct cross hatch checkering on hammer,trigger,safety lever, and slide stop lever. The black grips are plastic in 100% condition. market looks to be 100%- no rust, no wear. The FMAP arsenal refinish for export to U.S. It looks to be a late import judging from the very small import mark on frame forward of left grip. The early serial # dates gun to be 1946 manufacture.
